relay ships.

you confirm, we ship. it arrives in a small black box — amber inside. insert a SIM, plug it in, about three seconds, online.

Common questions.

Is this a pre-order or a reservation?
Strictly a reservation. We do not charge your card today — we don't even ask for one. After certification, you'll get a one-click confirmation email asking you to complete the order, and you can back out at any point before that.
When will my unit ship?
First batch ships Q2–Q3 2027, after FCC, CE, IC, and PTCRB approvals. Reservations are filled in the order they were placed. Nothing ships before Relay's own FCC grant.
Can I change my finish later?
Yes. Up until the day we ship your unit, you can change Silver ↔ Space Black via the link in your confirmation email.
Do I need a SIM or data plan?
Yes. Relay takes a standard nano-SIM — bring your own. In the US that means AT&T or T-Mobile (or MVNOs on their networks); both run the nationwide 5G Standalone that Relay uses. Verizon is not supported at launch. Internationally, Relay works on 5G SA networks with LTE Cat 4 fallback.
Can I reserve more than one?
Yes — just submit the form once per unit. If you need 10+, email kavin@relay5g.com for team orders.
What if certification slips?
We'll email you a transparent update with a new ship window — you'll read it from us before you read it anywhere else. If the delay pushes past Q4 2027, we'll proactively send everyone a cancel-with-one-click link.

The fine print, in plain sight

FCC notice. Relay has not yet been authorized as required by the rules of the Federal Communications Commission. Relay is offered on a reservation basis only, and delivery to you is conditional on Relay receiving FCC authorization. No unit will ship, and no payment will be collected, before that authorization is granted. The Quectel RG255C-GL module inside Relay is FCC-certified; host-device certification for Relay itself is underway.

Consumer protection. FCC equipment authorization covers radio-frequency compliance only. The FCC's rules do not address consumer-protection matters such as delivery timelines, cancellations, or refunds — those are governed by our refund policy and by applicable consumer-protection law.

Refund policy. Reservations are free and cancellable at any time with one click. If we ever collect payment before your unit ships, you may cancel for a full refund at any point before shipment. If FCC authorization is denied, or we cannot deliver, every payment received will be refunded in full, automatically.
